Cara Delevingne joins the pink brigade

Cara Delevingne is renowned for her fearless approach to beauty, but her latest look may be her most dramatic yet. The 22-year-old was virtually unrecognisable on Saturday, rocking straightened locks in a bright shade of pink.

The British beauty was enjoying a day out in Montreal, Canada, as she supported girlfriend St Vincent who was performing at the Osheaga festival. Cara turned heads with her brand new hairstyle, which she accessorised with a black and purple bandana worn as a headband.

The young model showed off her quirky side in a pair of blue shorts with a print of her beloved bacon, teamed with a white T-shirt which featured a pineapple motif.

While fans were quick to take to social media to praise the model for her bold new look, it seems that the change might not be as permanent as first believed. Cara was thought to be sporting a sleek wig for the gig, no doubt soon to return to her brunette locks as she continues touring the world to promote her latest movie Paper Towns.

A video of the star recently went viral when she was faced with a toe-curlingly awkward interview on a US morning show while talking about the film.

The model-turned-actress had made an appearance on Good Day Sacramento to promote the new film adapatation of John Green’s novel.

But the live chat deteriorated when the presenters suggested she was “exhausted” and “irritated”, before joking that she should “take a little nap, maybe get a red bull”.

After the video was released, Cara took to social media to defend herself. “Some people just don’t understand sarcasm or the British sense of humour,” she posted on Twitter in response to the TV interview.
