Victoria Beckham voted celebrity with most iconic bob
Victoria Beckham has once again proved her style icon status, topping a poll for the most iconic bob of all time.
The 40-year-old designer beat out other style legends including Rihanna and supermodel Twiggy for having the best celebrity bob, in a survey run by hairtrade.com.
Nowadays Victoria sports long tousled tresses, but when she first started as one-fifth of pop supergroup Spice Girls and then began her move to conquer the world of fashion, her sleek and short hairstyle saw hordes of fans rushing to hair salons to recreate her effortlessly chic look.
Fashion icon Mary Quant came a close second for her distinctive striking cropped haircut in the 1960s, followed by Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour in third place.
Front row-favourite Alexa Chung also featured on the list for her short brunette locks, while Jennifer Aniston’s renowned long cropped bob when playing Rachel in hit sitcom Friends saw her take the fifth spot.
Beyoncé surprised fans last year when she replaced her long way hair with a pixie cut, but her drastic new look saw respondents vote her in the top 10 winners, while Umbrella singer Rihanna’s change from long hair to a cropped ‘do saw her also take a place in the top celebrity hairstyles.
